If you recall, I broke a story earlier this year of the LAPD handcuffing Tyrone and accusing him of selling pirated DVDs. LAPD has a history of harassing people on Hollywood Blvd (see past post on LAPD cracks down on Hollywood Characters). To be fair, there are some bad apples in any situation but all are not criminals. Just like all police officers aren't bad. Anyway, TMZ ran the story and made it look like Burton was guilty. I refuted their claim as well as another site because of the overwhelming evidence in Tyrone's favor. TMZ eventually interviewed Tyrone Burton and cleaned up their original character assasination.
