I met and photographed Courtney Stodden in Hollywood during Labor Day Weekend. I met her mom Krista. They were nice people. Courtney Stodden is a star because she believes she is. I find it humorous that so many people dislike a teenager for being what she is. I think we all forget how we were as teenagers. Most of us were developing sexually and we were very egotistical and/or insecure. The majority of us wanted to be in the IN CROWD. We wanted to be popular. Courtney Stodden is no different she is just playing the game in a bigger field to a global audience. And she is winning. Courtney Stodden boosts ratings for networks and blogs. Thank You Courtney, the photos that I shot sold several places. Courtney is "IN" for now and all the hatred and the unkind words aren't going to change that fact. Courtney Stodden is a gold mine and the corporate suits want to make more money. For all the people making comments about her on the web, I wonder if they comment on all the underage models exploited sexually in the fashion pages of Vogue. I bet the same people that hate on Courtney are some of the same that have no problem with an underage girl spreading her legs in shorts for a fashion ad shot by photographers who thinks it is natural. I like Courtney Stodden because she is what she is and doesn't hide it.

Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton did porn tapes and made money and became more popular because of it. It would be easy to equate the rise in sextexting and young people being more open to exposing themselves via cell phones and computers because of the popularity of Paris and Kim. Paris Hilton also has been busted for cocaine and people still fawn over her. What message are we sending here? Courtney Stodden claimed to be a virgin and she married young to an older man. Hey at least she married him. The more people hate the bigger the Internet site's rating. I think there are bigger problems in the world than Courtney Stodden. And if she wants to be a narcissistic star so be it. There are a lot of them already in the system. It is time for some new blood. If anyone deserves a reality tv show, it is Courtney Stodden. I think she will be a bigger star than Anna Nicole Smith. Our culture loves to worship stars and then sacrifice them. Not many people seemed to care when Anna Nicole was pumped with drugs or seemed to be mentally ill, that is one reason so many people watched her show but many cried when she died. They love train wrecks. I wish anyone who wants FAME in Hollywood the best of LUCK. The price of FAME is higher than you think.
